The Role
The Temporary Works Coordinator will coordinate and manage all temporary works activities on site supporting the construction and supervision teams. This position will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of temporary works to support overall project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities on the construction site
* Ensure that all temporary works designs are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
* Review and approve temporary works designs and ensuring they meet project requirements
* Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of temporary works activities
* Conduct risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures for temporary works
* Monitor the installation, use, and dismantling of temporary works to ensure compliance with approved designs and safe working practices
About You
* Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
* Proven experience with a Tier 1 contractor in the local market is desirable
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of temporary work activities
* Sub-contractor management including scope of works creation and tendering
* Ability to collaborate with the site foreman and site staff for project needs and to deliver project updates in daily pre-start meetings
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
