About the RoleMindful Recovery Services & the Central Coast DBT Centre is seeking a skilled and values-driven clinician to join our team.
We offer flexibility in engagement type, with the option of casual employment or contractor arrangement, depending on the candidate’s preference and experience.
This role is suited to clinicians who are confident working with complex, high-risk presentations and are looking to deepen their clinical capability within a structured, evidence-based model.
Our service specialises in supporting adolescents and adults experiencing emotion dysregulation, suicidality, and trauma-related difficulties.
The Role IncludesIndividual therapy with complex and high-risk clientsCo-facilitation of DBT skills groupsDelivery of structured, skills-based interventionsParticipation in a clinically-led model of care with clear frameworks and expectationsOpportunity to contribute to online program and training delivery as the service expands
Who This Role Is ForWe are looking for clinicians who:Are comfortable working with risk, responsibility, and clinical complexityValue structure, consistency, and high standards of careAre open to clinical direction, supervision, and ongoing developmentWant to build advanced skills in DBT and structured interventions over time
Essential CriteriaMedicare-accredited clinician:Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), ORRegistered Psychologist, OROccupational Therapist with relevant mental health accreditationExperience working with complex and high-risk presentations (e.g. suicidality, trauma, emotion dysregulation)Strong therapeutic and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and within a structured clinical frameworkInterest in developing advanced DBT capability
Highly DesirableExperience with, or training in, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)Group facilitation experienceExperience in private practice
