The Company Our client is an iconic market leading multinational organisation. Based in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, they are seeking a product costing/management accountant to join their team immediately on a temp-to-perm basis. The Role Reporting to the CFO, the main responsibility of this role will be to track, analyse and report on the financial costing of the company's product lines and to project and forecast the impact of potential influxes and declines in product demand. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for: Lead preparation and submission of BAS, FBT and income tax returns Perform control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of all lodgements. Ensure accounting transactions are in compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP Process month end, general accounting and reporting activities; including accruals, journal entries, Fixed assets management, T&E, GMX, Financial Reporting Segmentation, GR/IR, SOX compliance, statutory and others Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and foreign exchange adjustments. Support audit processes and preparation of statutory financial statements. Identify and implement process improvements and support ERP upgrades. Collaborate effectively with offshore finance teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
