About the Role
Mackay Base Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Medical F2 Ward. This acute medical ward supports patients with a diverse range of conditions including cardiac, diabetes, respiratory, and palliative care presentations.
You will work within a busy digital ward environment using ieMR and MAR for clinical documentation and medication administration, as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in a similar medical ward setting
* ieMR competency within the past 12 months (mandatory)
* Strong acute medical nursing skills
* Ability to work across rotating 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
* Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, or Mackay HHS is highly desirable

Working Pattern:
* Rotating roster including 8, 10 and 12-hour shifts
* Maximum 80 hours per fortnight
* Overtime applies after 80 hours per fortnight
* Minimum 8-hour break between shifts required
