Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Tracking and analysing security alerts from SIEM, EDR, SOAR, Canaries, and Firewalls.
* Identifying and assessing potential threats, recommending fixes, and coordinating responses with internal and external teams.
* Writing clear reports and performing quality checks on playbooks and documentation.
* Building strong working relationships with peers and clients to ensure smooth teamwork and support.
* Helping improve tools and processes while staying up to date with cybersecurity trends.
* Working overnight and weekend shifts as required.
About You
The company is looking for:
* Final-year student or recent graduate in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (graduating by early 2026).
* Proven leadership through work, internships, or extracurriculars; skilled communicator who thrives in team settings and engages stakeholders effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities; capable of juggling multiple priorities with ease.
* Strong presentation and client-facing skills, committed to delivering quality service outcomes.
* Problem-solving mindset with experience in evaluating security incidents and crafting thoughtful responses.
* Self-driven learner excited by the cybersecurity space, proficient in MS Office and digital tools.
* Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
