Employment and Safety Law Specialist Role
This is a senior-level position within a reputable commercial law firm. As an Employment and Safety Law Specialist, you will be responsible for leading complex matters and providing strategic advice to clients on employment-related disputes.
Your expertise in client management, business development, and mentoring will be essential in driving growth and success within the team.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and general protection claims.
* Provide strategic advice on compliance, risk mitigation, and workplace policies.
* Draft contracts, executive agreements, and internal employment documentation.
* Apear before Tribunals, Commissions, and Federal or State Courts.
* Participate in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and conciliation.
* Develop and deliver training to clients on employment and WHS obligations.
* Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to internal knowledge initiatives.
* Engage in business development and maintain strong client relationships.
* About You:
* At least 7+ years post-admission experience in employment and safety law.
* Strong litigation and client advisory skills.
* A collaborative mindset and proactive, solutions-driven approach.
* Demonstrate expertise in client management, business development, and mentoring.
