Assist Australia: Provides automotive customers with wholesale roadside assistance, collision assistance and connected car emergency calls through the support of a national call centre team. Assist Australia supports about 2.7 million vehicles with roadside assistance.
AAA Travel and AMS Rewards: Procures and manages national rewards and benefits for mobility club members from retail discounts to insurance offerings, and with a reach of about 70% of Australian households.
Chargefox: Australia's largest and fastest-growing EV charging platform managing thousands of charging sessions across regional and national charging networks. ChargeFox partners with government, rental and company fleets to keep EV drivers on the move.
Club Assist: One of Australia’s largest automotive battery service providers. Club Assist offers end-to-end battery programs for mobility club partners and automotive retailers, delivering to every corner of Australia, as well as roadside assistance services. Its extensive battery range, including lead acid and lithium products, covers automotive, recreational, home and commercial applications.
The Role

Position Description :
As part of the Australian Motoring Services Salesforce Platform Team, the Salesforce Developer designs, develops, and implements customized Salesforce solutions that support business objectives. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize the capabilities of Salesforce, delivering effective solutions that promote growth and efficiency.
The Salesforce Developer will implement enhancements to the Salesforce platform, considering the broader organizational interests when designing and deploying solutions. The role demands ownership of all programmatic requests and close collaboration with cross-functional technology teams to deliver solutions based on stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with business stakeholders to review and confirm business requirements and proposed solutions.
* Develop Apex classes, triggers, Flows, and Lightning Components to extend the Salesforce platform for business requirements.
* Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and create/maintain test classes for custom development.
* Take ownership of release cycles for implementing and deploying new applications or updates to existing applications and code.
* Build and maintain Salesforce integration with external platforms and applications, such as Mercury SMS, CommVault, Boomi etc.
* Collaborate with IT Operations, Data and Insight team members, and developers of other systems to integrate solutions across the business.
* Maintain existing Apex classes and triggers, test methods, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages on the Salesforce platform.
* Perform bulk data updates, data migrations, and data quality assessments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configurations and code.
* Stay updated on Salesforce best practices and new features to maximize platform capabilities.
* Provide technical guidance and support to end users.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
* Effectively contribute to the iterative and adaptive Agile development methodology.
* Participate in User Stories and Backlog Management and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
About you
Core Competencies
* In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, with a minimum of 3 years of Salesforce development experience.
* Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Bitbucket source repository, Lightning Web Components (LWC) framework, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
* Thorough understanding of custom development best practices, governor limits, and security considerations within the Salesforce platform.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet project deadlines.
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
