The Role
The Sr. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant will act as a liaison between customer and internal teams on Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects (implementations, customizations, migrations, and more). The Sr. D365 Technical Consultant may be responsible for one or more aspects of the project including project management, business analysis, configuration, data, training and support with a focus on the Technical aspect. The candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. The Sr. D365 Consultant carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting the customer requirements and completing the project.

1. SQL Integration Services and/or Scribe
2. SQL Reporting Services
3. MOSS/SharePoint Services
4. SDK and/or Developers Toolkit
5. Programming languages such as C#, VB.net, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, VSTO, Silverlight, MVC
6. Active Directory, IIS, DNS
7. Windows 8, IOS and other mobile applications development
Qualifications and Skillsets
1. Exhibit PowerObjects’ Guiding Principles
2. Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field, or at least 5 years of Dynamics CRM 365 Project Management, Business Analysis and/or Technical Lead experience.
3. Experience in customizations, Javascript, C#, .Net, HRML, SQL Server, SSRS including plug in scripting and forms creations.
4. Experience with CRM API, REST, ODATA and SOAP Endpoints, Logic apps
5. Strong understanding of and ability to configure security groups, roles and teams.
6. Hands on using Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS, DevOps, Source controls, CRM SDK
7. Sound knowledge and/or certification on Project Management and different Project Management styles like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc.
8. Able to manage or lead multiple large projects (6-18 months) with advanced organizational skills
9. Up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology especially related to the operation of a sales, marketing, and customer service departments within an organization
10. Excellent verbal and written communication
11. Professional demeanor
12. Feels comfortable talking with clients at all levels of within an organization.
13. Ability to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide a customer through the implementation process
14. Advanced use of JIRA, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
[LT1] These technologies have moved on a little bit since this was written. Consider including Data Factory/Logic Apps, SSIS and KingswaySoft (instead of Scribe), Power BI (instead of SSRS), Azure Services, remove VB.net, VSTO, Silverlight, MVC. Kill Active Directory, IIS, DNS and replace with Azure. We don’t need Windows 8, IOS or other mobile app dev.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Lead and Manage multiple large projects, Participating architecting the CRM system related customizations and reports to model the business organizational processes
2. Lead and facilitate the design and architecture sessions with clients
3. Mentor other consultants in terms of PM, BA and/or Technicaltechnical skills
4. Be a PowerObjects University (PowerU) Instructor
5. Be an advisor to customers and other consultants
6. Help customers define processes when there are no processes in place
7. Advise customers on best practices for CRM processes, user interface, and architecture
8. Assist technical consultants with architecting CRM or xRM system, related customizations, and report to model the client’s organizational processes
9. Create Functional and Technical Specifications documentation for the project.
10. Balance business users requests and requirements with technical constraints
11. Create a detailed project scope document for the customer, which includes both estimates for the tasks that will be completed and the project schedule in Microsoft Project
12. Write specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations
13. Facilitate team resources in the implementation of data migration and translation, data integration, training and custom development, and reports
14. Building and configuring CRM forms, plug in views, dashboards and workflows
15. Developing SSRS reports using Microsoft SQL and FetchXML
16. Maintaining code repository, VSTS backlog and source control, Exposure in Github
17. Work on Azure API’s and components
18. Schedule work to be done and follows up to ensure completion within the project schedule
19. Supervise the tasks and deliverables of the project team to meet project milestones and deliverables
20. Maintain risks and issues lists (usually in SharePoint)
21. Conduct risk mitigation with client project team
22. Guide the project along through daily communications with the customer
23. Conduct at least a weekly status meetingsweekly status meeting (may be more) and sends weekly status updates
24. Conduct design review sessions with the customer to demonstrate completed work and gather adjustments and changes
25. Ensuring consistent release management, change management and project approval process
26. Support of the application including fixing application issues and bugs.
