The role of an Administration Support Officer is crucial in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a new mental health service in Cairns. As the first point of contact for clients, families, carers and stakeholders, you will play a key role in creating a responsive, warm and efficient service experience.

* Provide high-level administrative support to the Service Manager and team, including meeting coordination, reporting, minute-taking, and document preparation.
* Deliver reception services, managing incoming calls and enquiries, booking and confirming appointments, and greeting clients and visitors.
* Support the service's daily operations, including office systems, supplies, facilities, IT, and fleet coordination.
* Maintain accurate records, support data entry and reporting processes, and assist with finance tasks including invoice reconciliation.
* Contribute to a welcoming, safe, and culturally inclusive environment that supports the wellbeing of clients, carers, and staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience in administrative support in the Health, Medical or Community Services sector. You will also require proven experience in administrative support, reception, data entry, or customer service, as well as high-level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work autonomously and collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
