About the Role
We are seeking a governance-first Capability Architect with a strong technical background in telco or managed network services.
You'll work across existing products and services – managed networks, security services and other telco/ICT offerings – to unpack known risks, design controls, uplift documentation and ensure services meet regulatory, quality and operational standards.
You will
Analyse existing services to understand regulatory, operational and documentation risks
Define and embed controls, governance checkpoints and assurance activities
Drive ISO**********-aligned documentation and repeatable quality practices
Govern CMDB, service modelling, naming standards and data integrity
Work with BAs, Delivery Managers, Risk, Legal, Data Governance, Internal Audit, Engineering and Operations to ensure services are safe and supportable in BAU
This is not a traditional solution architect role – if your focus is pure solution design without substantive risk, compliance or governance experience, this won't be the right fit.
About You
You bring a blend of technical depth and governance mindset and are comfortable navigating complex telco environments, frameworks and stakeholders.
You will ideally have
Experience in telco and/or managed service provider environments (e.g. networking, UC, SD-WAN, managed networks)
Strong background in risk, regulatory compliance and operational governance
Exposure to obligations such as ACMA, MTCO, CDR privacy, PSPF/ATO
Solid understanding of ITIL service transition and the Design ? Build ? BAU lifecycle
Proven experience in documentation quality, ISO********** practices and CMDB/service modelling
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to lead workshops to unpack and resolve complex risks

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
