Are you an experienced Asphalt labourer? There are a couple of opportunities for ongoing work across a mix of projects.
You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch. As part of the team, you will be working on projects on various sites around Brisbane. Must be available for both day and night shifts.
About your new role:
The variety of this role will expand across but not limited to the following labouring tasks
* Use screen board/shovel an rakes to spread asphalt
* Perform routine manhole and sheet patching repairs
* Gravel and asphalt pavements
* Ability to work Day Shift, Night Shift and Weekends when required
* Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
* Guide trucks and traffic while moving and tipping
What you will need to exceed:
We are looking for asphalt labourers with experience or in a similar field services role. A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines.
* Current C Class license & own vehicle required
* Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
* Asphalt labouring experience required
* Road and traffic awareness
* MR/HR Truck licence desirable
