About the role This position is responsible for the management, classification and distribution of the City of Parramatta's centralised e-mail account, electronic media, and hardcopy correspondence using the Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) and integrated systems. On a daily basis you will: Manage Councils Inbox and hardcopy correspondence by creating, maintaining, allocation and distribution across Council. Assist with the archiving and retrieval of corporate records, archives and the management of onsite and offsite storage areas Contribute to and maintain a working knowledge of information management policies, procedures and best practice Contribute to the team effort in continually improving processes, systems and customer experience to achieve best practice. About You The successful candidate should have at least 1-2 years’ experience actively working in information management with experience in document classification and indexing using an electronic information management system, and to work in a busy team providing diverse services and contribute to the continual improvement of customer service and have good attention to detail. You will also bring: TAFE Accreditation in Recordkeeping or recognised qualifications in Records/Information Management or equivalent experience Understanding of the State Records Act NSW (1998), Local Government General Authority FA450 and GA28 and International Standard ISO 15489 Highly developed planning, organising, and time management skills What’s on offer We are offering a permanent full time opportunity, with an attractive remuneration from $73,172.60 to $80,554.17 plus 12% superannuation.
