Job Overview:


Business Development Officer

The role of this position is to provide high-level administrative support and expertise to directors, department leaders, and other stakeholders. This includes developing and monitoring operational requirements, reporting needs, and providing guidance in executive functions.

* You have the ability to manage stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
* You are flexible and proactive with a strong interpersonal and written communication style.
* You possess operational, financial, and administrative experience within a medium office environment.
* You have the ability to work independently on routine matters within established procedures and guidelines.
* You have advanced word processing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
* You can exercise discretion, tact, and maintain strict confidentiality in all matters at an executive level.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Able to enjoy managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
2. A flexible and proactive attitude towards work, with the capacity to embrace change in response to new initiatives, strategic directions, or external requirements.
3. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and contribute to a cohesive team.
4. Operational, financial and administrative experience within a medium office environment, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine matters within established procedures and guidelines, ensuring tasks are completed within set deadlines.
6. Demonstrated advanced word processing skills, along with proficiency in other relevant software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom.
7. Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, tact, and maintain strict confidentiality in all matters at an executive level.
