About the role
Our client a multinational electronics company, is known for its range of communication products with their durability, reliability, and advanced features, providing wireless communications products and systems for public safety, commercial, and government customers.
You will play a pivotal role in growing the sales pipeline through the channel partner network, supporting key government clients and driving strategic business development across your assigned territories. Expanding the sales in allocated territory by servicing, recruiting and collaborating with existing and new channel partners, ensuring the customer needs are met in line with company's targets and business standards
* Manage and grow channel partner relationships for the territory of SA and WA and other regions if required
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government agencies, consultants, and end users
* Provide product and technical support to partners and their sales teams
* Conduct regular partner and end‑user meetings, product briefings, and training sessions
* Respond to government tenders and prepare high‑quality proposal documentation
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales operations, product, and technical teams
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and client presentations
* Report on sales forecasts, market trends, and competitor activity
* Provide regular reports and updates to the Managing Director on business performance, market conditions, and other relevant metrics
* Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while managing risks associated with operations
Skills and Experience
* Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or channel sales – ideally in radio communications, ICT, or a related technical field
* Knowledge of P25, DMR, NXDN, or LTE technologies highly desirable
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Able to work autonomously and travel across assigned territories as required
* Experience in preparing tender submissions and delivering commercial outcomes
* A collaborative mindset with excellent time‑management and planning skills
