Your new role
As an Inventory & Supply Planner, you'll ensure the right assets are in the right place at the right time. You'll combine analytical expertise with operational insight to keep the network flowing seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
* Network Pool Planning: Analyse asset pool sizes (crates, pallets, bins) to maintain optimal availability across states and customer sites.
* Demand Forecasting: Use historical data, RFID tracking, and trip-rate analysis to predict asset requirements for seasonal and strategic horizons.
* Capital Planning: Prepare and submit Capital Expense Requests (CER) to maintain adequate pool sizes and support growth.
* Inventory Control: Oversee stock accuracy at wash sites, DCs, and external networks; implement continuous improvement for stocktake processes.
* Asset Flow Coordination: Plan and execute transfers between wash sites, 3PLs, and customer locations to maintain service levels.
* Washing & Maintenance Scheduling: Align washing capacity with demand forecasts and coordinate with site managers for timely execution.
* Transport Optimisation: Manage transport planning to maximise load efficiency and minimise cost while ensuring timely asset availability.
* Data-Driven Decision-Making: Monitor RFID and system data to track losses, trip rates, and utilisation; provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and transport partners to ensure smooth operations.
* System Utilisation & Innovation: Leverage SAP, Power BI, and bespoke planning tools to improve visibility, automate reporting, and enhance planning accuracy.
What you'll need to succeed
* Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business
* 3-5 years' experience in inventory or supply planning roles
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SAP, Excel, Power BI
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for process improvement
