SMW Group is seeking reliable and motivated Trades Assistants and Industrial Cleaners to support ongoing fabrication, maintenance and repair works across multiple mine sites throughout Central Queensland.

The Roles
These roles are critical to the safe and efficient operation of our workshops and sites across the Bowen Basin. You will assist tradespeople and support site operations through general labouring, preparation, industrial cleaning and housekeeping activities.
You will be expected to work safely, follow procedures, take initiative and contribute positively to site and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
* Preparing and maintaining clean, safe work areas
* Industrial cleaning of workshops, plant and site facilities
* Handling tools, equipment and materials as required
* Ensuring tools and equipment are kept clean and serviceable
* Maintaining high housekeeping standards across site
* Strictly adhering to WHS policies, procedures and site requirements

* Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Highly Regarded Qualifications (Not Essential)
* High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Non-Slew Crane, Forklift etc)
