The Acquired Injury Support Services team within Anglicare Tasmania is looking for individuals with a genuine desire to provide high-quality care for people with disabilities.

Role: Acquired Injury Support Worker
Our support workers provide direct care and support to clients, ensuring their individual needs are met. We adopt a person-centred approach to help clients live fulfilling lives, aiming to develop skills aligned with their goals and support plans.
Responsibilities may include:
* Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
* Medication administration
* Meal preparation
* Transport and purchases
* Social support
* Record keeping and reporting
Requirements to join our team:
* Australian residency or valid work rights
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or working towards it
* Experience in the Disability sector
* Current driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle
* Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration
* National Police Check (Working with Vulnerable People)
Important:
* Successful applicants must undergo an Anglicare Tasmania medical assessment before starting.
* Upon commencement, applicants will undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
