UGL are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders to work on the decommissioning of some of the largest oil and gas fields in Australia.

In this role, you will:
* Interpret and work from engineering drawings, workpacks, and specifications.
* Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components and piping systems.
* Perform cutting, grinding, and welding using approved procedures and equipment.
* Carry out welding tasks in accordance with AS/NZS standards and offshore requirements.
* Conduct pre-weld preparation, fit-up, and alignment of components.
* Operate and maintain welding and fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
* Perform quality checks on completed welds and fabricated components.
* Assist with dismantling and removal of structures during decommissioning.
* Work closely with inspectors to ensure compliance with welding procedures.
* Maintain accurate daily progress reports and documentation.
* Demonstrate flexibility to undertake additional duties as required.

To be considered for the role, you will have:
* Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder.
* Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding (offshore experience highly regarded).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
* Strong understanding of safety standards and offshore work practices.
* Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office for reporting.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Ability to work effectively in confined spaces and as part of a team.

Required Certifications & Tickets:
* Welding Certification
* Offshore Safety Training (BOSIET training provided)
* MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card). (Training provided)
* Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry.
* Current First Aid & CPR.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
