Salary: $99,775 - $113,318 gross p.a. plus 12% Super.
35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime.
Located at the Nowra Natural Disasters Office.
Applications close Wednesday, 24 September 2025.About The RolePlay a pivotal role in supporting the Natural Disasters team with key business functions including financial analysis and reporting, procurement, technology improvements and procedure and process improvement.
These responsibilities include:Conduct research and provide key financial, operational and capital advice to support decision making, maintain financial control and improvement initiativesSupport and manage the day-to-day operations of the Natural Disaster Team through the developing of tools and budget reportingEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies to minimise risksLiaise with other areas of Council to bring about improvements and provide input to corporate initiativesPlease refer to the Job Description under the Job Attachments for a comprehensive list of duties, responsibilities and skills required.About YouTo be successful in the position, you will have:Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or equivalentDemonstrated experience in a finance related roleClass C Drivers LicenceProof of right to work in AustraliaWe are looking for an analytical and strategic thinker with strong financial acumen who is a natural liaison and able to effectively communicate and collaborate with a range of stakeholders.
