Automotive Mechanic – Experienced | Clean & Organised Workshop
We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Mechanic – qualified or not – to join our professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity to start working in **** in a modern, tidy and well-maintained workshop.
Ultra car care values quality workmanship, efficiency and attention to detail.
A good attitude towards work is essential – and a willingness to expand industry & mechanical knowledge.
Mechanics earn a minimum of 110,000 per year plus a host of personalised incentives that are generally not available in most automotive workshops.
The ability to increase your income and technical knowledge with advanced training courses keeps our technicians up to date with current technologies and at the forefront of our industry.
We are looking for someone who is always thinking ahead and willing to give that extra effort.
All technicians finish early on Fridays for an early start for the weekend.
About us
Ultra car care is a long-established independent automotive workshop operating in its current location with the same family for more than twenty years.
Over the years, mechanics have stayed with us for up to thirteen years, many for more than a decade, due to the salary and conditions.
Ultra care has begun major renovations to be completed by early January **** that will improve workshop conditions, workflow and street appeal.
We are the RACQ approved repairer for Caboolture and surrounding suburbs.
About the Role
As an integral part of our team, you'll perform diagnostics, servicing and repairs across a variety of vehicles.
You'll maintain high standards while contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing, maintenance and repairs
Fault diagnosis and problem solving in a team environment to find the best outcomes
Keeping workshop productivity and future work at the forefront of mind
Working as part of a team, sharing experience and information to ensure attention to detail, always striving to be as efficient as possible and ensuring vehicles are completed by required times as much as possible
About You
Experienced mechanic with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and technical skills, always prepared to continue to learn
Attention to detail and pride in our business & workmanship
Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
Current driver's licence essential
Australian work rights are required for this position
Basic exposure to multiple brands of light vehicles, including European diesel and petrol
Hybrid & E.V. qualifications not necessary

Snap-On Zeus plus full-size analysing sweats with technical support, Snap-On oscilloscope, other scan tools, high-end smoke machine, infra-red split screen Snap-On camera, top-end multimeters, power probe, digital test lights, digital fully automatic A/C machine (training available), factor timing lock master kits, brake laith (rarely used only for emergencies), and a ridiculous amount of tools & equipment
Lunch & early finish on Fridays + much more
Full-time, stable employment – Monday to Friday only
Ongoing advanced technical training
