The role
The Prospect Development Analyst plays a critical role in strengthening World Vision Australia's Private Funding pipeline by delivering sharp, ethical prospect research and actionable donor insights. Collaborating with the Donor Operations Team and partnering closely with fundraisers, this role turns data into clarity—helping identify, prioritise and grow meaningful supporter relationships that drive sustainable impact.

About YOU
You will be a detail‑focused, analytical and collaborative team member, committed to supporting fundraising success through high‑quality research, data integrity and proactive stakeholder engagement. You bring:
* 3+ years' experience in qualitative prospect research within an NFP or university/higher education context
* Knowledge of fundraising principles, philanthropy trends and wealth indicators
* Experience identifying prospects using diverse data sources, public records, and commercial research tools
* Competence in Microsoft applications, CRM systems, and best‑practice prospect research tools and methodologies
* Experience preparing prospect profiles, briefings and/or similar reports with accuracy and clarity
* Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and manage research requests and communicate proactively
* A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
* SQL and/or advanced Excel skills, project management experience and familiarity with FIA/APRA Australia standards are desirable.
