About the Position
AMS is seeking an experienced full‐time Senior Aerodrome Manager on a FIFO basis from Perth, working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster. As an Aerodrome Manager you will ensure the operation and management of the aerodrome in accordance with the relevant operating standards.
Responsibilities
* The operation and management of the aerodrome in accordance with the requirements of CASR 139, the Manual of Standards, Aviation Transport Security Regulations, and AMS contracts.
* Providing management and technical expertise for the ongoing operation of the aerodrome.
* Developing a culture that delivers continuous improvement in safety and customer service, and ensures compliance with CASA and corporate safety standards.
* Planning and day‐to‐day management of AMS aerodromes, including stakeholder management, grounds maintenance and infrastructure.
* Managing people and assets to mitigate risk, ensuring continuous improvement and successfully delivering outcomes in a complex and challenging environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in Airport Management, Quality Assurance, Operations Compliance, Emergency Planning & Management, and policy procedure protocol.
* High intermediate to advanced administrative and report‐writing skills.
* Prior management and leadership experience in a complex environment.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise activities and manage workload to meet deadlines and outcomes.
* Effective and appropriate communication with community members, clients, staff and onsite contractors.
