The Role
Join Hedland's premier live entertainment and movie venue as a part-time Theatre & Cinema Team Leader. In this leadership role, you'll support the effective running of the operational requirements and business activities of the Matt Dann Theatre & Cinema.
You will lead the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all touchpoints. This includes coordinating movie bookings with distributors, assisting with live show programming, and managing ticketing and point-of-sale systems. You'll also oversee kiosk operations, stock management, and financial reconciliation.
As a team leader, you'll support the onboarding and training of new staff, contribute to rostering, and foster a positive team culture. You'll work closely with the Theatre & Cinema Operations Supervisor and Senior Arts & Culture Officer to ensure the venue meets compliance standards and delivers exceptional customer service.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a passion for the arts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
* National Police Clearance
* Current 'C' class drivers license
* Rights to work in Australia
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
* Chief Fire Warden Certificate (or willing to obtain)
* Physically able to safely move, lift, load and unload objects that are up to 15kg
