As a Community Sports Development Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering workshops and training sessions to community sporting clubs across Queensland. Your goal is to equip coaches and club members with the knowledge and skills they need to prevent vaping among young players.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of community development principles and experience working with sports clubs. You will also need to be confident in your ability to deliver presentations and facilitate important conversations around harm reduction and minimisation.
In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with community sporting clubs, coaches, and club members, so being able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively is essential.
