SUMMARY
The Casual Certified/Licensed Nail Technician provides professional, guest-focused nail services—including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements—while maintaining strict hygiene standards and a creative approach to nail design. This role demands technical expertise, excellent customer service, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty and wellness and helps elevate the salon experience for every client.
Key Responsibilities — Nail Services
* Provide a full range of nail treatments, including classic and spa manicures and pedicures, gel polish, acrylics, nail art, and specialty services.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and products to deliver contemporary, high-quality services.
Client Consultations
* Conduct individualized consultations to assess client preferences, nail health, and desired outcomes; recommend suitable services and aftercare.
* Tailor treatments to each client's needs, adjusting techniques and designs for condition, lifestyle, and style preferences.
Workload & Time Management
* Efficiently manage appointment schedule while delivering consistent, high-quality services.
* Ensure smooth transitions between clients and services to maintain a timely, seamless guest experience.
Sanitation & Workspace Maintenance
* Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with all salon safety and sanitation standards.
* Thoroughly sanitize tools and equipment after each use and assist in maintaining overall salon cleanliness.
Team Collaboration
* Attend team meetings and training to keep skills and product knowledge current.
* Work closely with salon and spa colleagues to deliver a unified, positive guest experience.
Client Experience & Satisfaction
* Provide professional, high-quality nail services that consistently exceed client expectations.
* Proactively solicit and act on guest feedback, handling concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
Certification and Professional Development
* Possess a valid certification or license in cosmetology or nail technology from a recognized and accredited institution.
