About the Role
As our Branch Manager, you’ll lead the daily operations of our Shepparton branch, grow our customer base, and maintain the high standard our clients expect. You’ll be hands-on, people-focused, great on your feet in sales situations, and confident overseeing everything from customer care to branch organisation and safety.
This role requires someone energetic and proactive, ready to take ownership of the branch, build its presence in the market, and support our broader EXEQ entities across retail, auction, logistics, and earthmoving.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and exceptional customer experience.
* Drive sales growth through strong customer relationships, product knowledge, and proactive outreach.
* Lead and mentor the branch team, fostering a supportive and accountable workplace culture.
* Manage stock, inventory control, and store presentation to EXEQ standards.
* Support marketing and local brand presence, including online sales where needed.
* Provide high-level customer service across parts, retail sales, equipment, and logistics queries.
* Assist with administrative requirements including invoicing, data entry, and supporting head office processes.
* Maintain safety, compliance, and operational documentation for the branch.
* Collaborate with interstate colleagues and leverage EXEQ systems, reporting tools, and procedures.
Who We’re Looking For
* Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
* Confidence in sales environments and a genuine passion for customer connection.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and a willingness to learn internal systems including Xero.
* Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
* Readiness to work in an Apple iOS environment.
Experience in the machinery, logistics, transport, parts, or construction industries is an advantage but not essential for the right candidate with the right energy.
