We are seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our Project Delivery Group in Perth.

This key role is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental performance of our projects. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

About the Role:
">
The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with at least 10 years of on-site experience setting up and leading major EPCM construction projects or similar.
">
You will be responsible for:
">
">
* Compiling and preparing project-specific health and safety documentation aligned with corporate health and safety folders.
">
* Performing duties and ensuring compliance as stipulated in the project Health and Safety Management Plan.
">
* Managing and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements as defined in the project Health and Safety Specification.
">
* Actively engaging and participating in resolving Health and Safety issues in the field with construction contractors.
">
* Promoting and participating in observation processes.
">
* Participating and providing H&S input in construction planning activities on site.
">
* Providing advice, strategies, and problem-solving to project personnel on all health and safety issues to achieve the goal of 'no harm' during the project.
">
* Reviewing and approving contractor's safety management plans and safe operating procedures before work commences.
">
* Leading and facilitating the project hazard analysis and risk assessment process across all project disciplines.
">
* Ensuring the implementation and support of behavior-based health and safety, and the safety information management system on the project.
">
* Leading and participating in project incident investigations and reporting, and measuring implementation of corrective actions from incident investigations.
">
* Implementing and managing the project health and safety audit program and measuring compliance with project rules, safety management plans, and health and safety procedures.
">

Requirements:
">
">
* A tertiary-level H&S discipline qualification.
">
* At least 10 years of on-site experience setting up and leading major EPCM construction projects or similar.
">
* Open to fly-in-fly-out projects.
">
* Professional approach and experience leading, coaching, and managing a health and safety team.
">
* Practical understanding of H&S regulatory practices and general H&S Systems.
">
* Excellent written and interpersonal skills, with clear communication skills to lead and motivate on-site project teams in health and safety.
">
* Attention to detail and high level of computer and organizational skills.
">
* A passion for continual improvement of project health and safety performance.
">
* Demonstrate experience in contractor and client relationship management.
">
* Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with state guidelines.
