Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with City FM Australia, a global leader in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, and Energy solutions. As a Facilities Manager for DC Operations in Laverton, you will be responsible for providing facilities management services and technical advice to Coles' state-of-the-art Distribution Centre.
The Opportunity
In this position, you will report directly to the National Operations Manager and work closely with the Distribution Centre Manager to ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility.
* Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the site, including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff, and waste management.
* Manage annual facilities budget, identifying priorities to support required services.
* Promote continuous improvement by implementing and developing safety standards and procedures, including conducting regular audits across the site.
* Adhere to all City Health and Safety (Think Safe) policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration, or Technical stream (advantageous).
* Previous experience in Facilities Management, preferably in a commercial supply chain environment.
* Experience with budget responsibility, including capital and operational budget management.
* Strong administration, planning, and coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Able to build and maintain strong working relationships, with experience working closely with local and nationally based clients, contractors, technicians, and team members.
* Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence, willing to travel interstate as required.
