The Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated Project Manager to join our Projects Team for a variety of mine-site projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain project schedule, utilizing Microsoft Project
* Manage project resources
* Ensure all quality, environmental, safety, and other regulatory requirements of the project are fulfilled
* Track costs and manage budget allocation, including providing input into costings for further works
* Full lifecycle management of projects from estimation, planning, execution to completion.
* Provide leadership and support to the Project Team
* Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
* Provide updates/reports to clients as required
* Maintain project documentation and complete project close-out
* Planning and allocation of resources
* Work with Senior management to achieve strategic objectives
Key Requirements:
* Qualification in Project Management
* Minimum Diploma level qualification in Project Management required
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (highly regarded)
* Minimum 3 years' project management experience
* Estimating experience necessary
* Minimum 1-2 years of estimating experience required
* Strong background in the construction/mining industry
* Supervisory qualifications (S1, S2, S3 & G2) highyl reguarded
* Standard 11 Surface Generic Mining Induction (or ability to obtain)
* Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
* Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
* Driver's License
