Our team is looking for an experienced Fleet Management System Specialist to join our Operations Department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology implementation and upgrade projects in mining settings, particularly with Fleet Management Systems like MineStar. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.
A Bachelor's degree or Trade certificate in a related field such as Computer Science or Electronics would be highly desirable. The successful applicant will also have advanced skills in operating and troubleshooting Fleet Management Systems, including hardware and software configuration, installation, and maintenance.

In this exciting role, you will play a key part in enhancing mining operations through the effective management of the Fleet Management System. You will assist with the implementation and ongoing operation of the system, provide direct user support and operation advice, and collaborate with the Mine Technology team to develop and monitor scheduled equipment servicing and repairs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist with the implementation and ongoing operation of the new Fleet Management System to ensure high availability and correct system operation.
* Provide direct user support and operation advice to Mine Control and the Technology Operation department.
* Support hardware and software installation, configuration, and testing.
* Manage vendor support.
* Develop Training and Work Instruction material relating to the operation and maintenance of the Fleet Management System.
* Lead functional testing of updates to ensure system continuity and ensure business risks are identified and assessed prior to deployment to production.
* Monitor product roadmap and lifecycle plans, ensuring business needs and expectations are managed.
* Collaborate with the Mine Technology team to develop and monitor scheduled equipment servicing and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Proactively lead the monitoring and analysis of FMS performance, driving system enhancements in line with evolving business needs.
