The Role
* Support Day-to-Day Operations: Assist the site manager with arrivals of new personnel, mobilization e.g., inductions, site access, transport, accommodation.
* Mobilize Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) Workers: Coordinate and manage the mobilization of PLS workers.
* Transport Employees: Transport employees to clinics and appointments.
* Address Employee Issues: Assist with conflict resolution and address employee issues proactively.
* Manage Accommodation and Vehicle Inspections: Manage accommodation and vehicle inspections and reports if required.
* Support Onsite Employee Wellbeing: Support onsite employee wellbeing including regular check-ins and follow-ups.
* Educate and Mentor Onsite Employees: Educate and mentor onsite employees in relation to workplace operations.
* Foster Relationships: Foster the relationship between the client and FIP Group employees.
* Conduct Return to Work Procedures: Conduct return to work procedures for site activities.
* Escalate Serious Breaches: Escalate serious breaches or seek guidance on desired outcome to Internal HR.
* Educate and Coach Onsite Employees: Educate and coach onsite employees and visitors on safe site practices.
* Monitor and Report Site Safety: Monitor and report site safety and WHS policies and procedures.
* Provide Coverage: Provide coverage or support to Site Managers in peak periods or to cover absences.
About You:
* People Management Experience: We are looking for someone with people management experience.
* Intermediate Computer Literacy: Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite skills.
* High-Level Communication Skills: High level written and verbal communication skills.
* Human Resources Experience: Exposure to the fundamentals of Human Resources, HR experience is desirable.
* Driver's License: Open Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
* QFever Vaccination: Ability and willingness to receive a QFever vaccination and complete a Police Check.
* Culturally Diverse Workforce: Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce is desired.
