About the Role:
We are seeking a Cook to join our Dural House Team on a casual basis!
You will be based at our Dural House, located at 705 Old Northern Road Dural NSW 2158.
Shift Times: 6:00AM - 2:00PM | 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Dural House is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cook to join our team in a warm, resident-focused aged care facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, home-style meals and understands the importance of food in enhancing quality of life for older people.
Desired Skills & Experience for Cook:
Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)
Previous experience as a Cook in Aged Care (preferable)
Assist in the preparation of food and serving of meals
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
Commitment to providing quality services to residents
Knowledge of infection control procedures
Experience in catering/kitchen hand
General kitchen cleaning and maintenance
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Food safety experience in a healthcare setting desirable
