Overview
The Hamilton Hotel is seeking a high-energy Functions Coordinator/Supervisor to help lead our large-scale event space on the Brisbane River. This hands‐on role blends event coordination and staff supervision with administrative and marketing tasks, including social media and in‐venue promotions. You will be responsible for the end‐to‐end execution of events for up to 600 guests, from setup to pack‐down.
Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute large‐scale events for up to 600 guests.
* Lead and supervise event staff during shifts.
* Manage administrative duties related to events.
* Handle marketing tasks, including social media promotion and in‐venue marketing.
Qualifications
* Current RSA certification.
* Minimum 2 years of F&B experience.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Physical fitness to manage active event shifts.
* Full flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Physical Requirements
* Manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).
