Environmental Scientist / Contaminated Land Consultant

With a strong pipeline of work across major infrastructure, local government, regional development, and private sector projects, we are looking for an experienced Environmental Scientist / Contaminated Land Consultant to join our team.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing environmental consultancy delivering practical, high-quality solutions across NSW.
The Role
You will support and deliver a range of contaminated land and environmental consulting projects, including:
* Contaminated land investigations and assessments across NSW;
* Site inspections, fieldwork, soil sampling, groundwater sampling and contractor coordination;
* Preparation of technical reports, including PSI's DSI's, RAP, Waste Classifications and Management Plans;
* Project planning, scoping, coordination and delivery;
* Liaising with clients, laboratories, contractors and regulators where required;
* Contributing to practical, commercially aware and technically robust project outcomes.
About You
We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable and technically capable, with a strong grounding in contaminated land consulting.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
* Based in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley or Central Coast region;
* Australian citizenship;
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in contaminated land or environmental consulting;
* A relevant degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or a related discipline;
* Demonstrated experience delivering contaminated land assessments and reports;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Practical problem-solving ability and confidence working in the field;
* A current Australian driver's licence.
Highly Regarded
The following will be highly regarded, but are not essential:
* Certified Environmental Practitioner accreditation;
* Licensed Asbestos Assessor;
