Overview
State Peer Practice Lead – senior practice support role in the national Lived Experience team, based in Queensland. The role supports peer practice across all peer support service offerings and coaches managers to apply peer work principles.
Responsibilities
* Provide reflective practice sessions and co‐reflection for the peer workforce within established frameworks.
* Coach managers to strengthen their understanding of peer work and support peer workers in their region/program.
* Facilitate and contribute to Communities of Practice to promote peer‐to‐peer learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
* Provide secondary consultation within established peer practice frameworks and, when necessary, escalates complex matters to the LLE Leadership team or Operational team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Publicly disclosed lived experience of mental distress, accessing services and personal healing or recovery.
* Completion of Level IV Certificate in Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent.
* Completion of other peer work practice models and approaches (IPS preferred).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a designated peer work role with at least 1 year in a senior, mentoring or practice support role (desirable).
* Proof of identity and working rights in Australia (100 points ID, birth certificate, passport or visa).
* National Police Check (completed within past 12 months).
* Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* QLD Child Safety Check.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course).

Additional Information
Package: SCHADS 5B ($51 per hour) + Super + leave loading + salary package options. Position can be based at any QLD office, preference for Upper Mt Gravatt or Birtinya.
