Therapeutic Youth Worker
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Therapeutic Youth Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices and the ability to build meaningful relationships with young people.
The role involves implementing individualised case plans and evidence-informed approaches such as emotional coaching, while maintaining a calm presence in crisis situations. You will also be responsible for fostering safe environments where young people feel valued and empowered to grow.
Key Selection Criteria:
* Experience working therapeutically with young people
* Ability to follow individualised case plans
* Evidence-informed approaches such as emotional coaching
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Cert IV in Community Services, or Youth Work (or related) or higher, and be willing to obtain. A valid and current Driver's License, Satisfactory Criminal History Check, and Employee Working with Vulnerable People Check are also required.
