Senior Facilities Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead our property maintenance and facilities management team.
About the Role
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and long-term capital plans to ensure optimal performance of building systems.
* Manage departmental budgets, coordinate external contractors, and maintain inventory records.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and development for all Engineering team members.
* Collaborate with hotel leadership on new projects and operational improvements.
Requirements
* A Diploma in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role, with at least 4 years in an executive engineering position within a luxury hotel or resort is required.
* Strong technical knowledge and experience across engineering systems, building compliance, and asset management is essential.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team are necessary.
* A detailed understanding of fire life safety requirements within the hospitality industry is crucial.
* Excellent organisational and reporting skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement are required.
