Automotive Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Manager to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of a Store Manager and a General Service Technician, requiring exceptional customer service skills, leadership abilities, and a strong understanding of automotive knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver outstanding customer service while listening to and consulting customers
* Follow up with customers on services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
* Oversee complete vehicle inspections and make comprehensive recommendations building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
* Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
* Lead, manage, and train team members while keeping in tune with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
* Supervise up to ten employees
* Oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks
* Maintain inventory counts
* Ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
* Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic technician jobs
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience (not required)
* General automotive knowledge
* Excellent customer service disposition
* Good communication skills
* Leadership ability
* Team building skills
* Ability to follow directions & process
* Ability to use computers & software
* Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
* Valid driver's license
