The Client
Our Client is an Australian government intelligence agency that is responsible for the collection, analysis, and distribution of geospatial intelligence in support of Australia's defence and national interests.
The Role
Our client is seeking the services of a security professional to assist and support the ongoing audit and certification of its Official: Sensitive, PROTECTED and SECRET role will include maintaining separation from the development of the systems and working closely with CIOG certification authority.
Requirements of the role:
5. Assessment of the ICT security documentation against the ISM compliance requirement
6. Gap Analysis and Compliance Analysis against the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
7. Architecture and security model assessment
8. Information System Reviews
9. Threat and Risk Assessments
10. Provide advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards
11. Obtain and act on vulnerability information and conducts security risk assessments and business impact analysis within the Geospatial community. Assist in investigating security based events, and recommend appropriate control improvements.
12. Assist in developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
13. Familiarity with the Information Security Manual
14. Experience with the assessment of the ICT security documentation against the ISM compliance requirement
15. Experience with Gap Analysis and Compliance Analysis against the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
16. Experience with architecture and security model assessment, Information System Reviews and Threat and Risk Assessments
17. Ability to provide advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards
18. Experience obtaining and acting on vulnerability information and conducting security risk assessments/business impact analysis
19. Assist in developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
