Logistics Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and 'hands on' Logistics Team Leader to join our Logistics & Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for a logistics professional who combines strong operational expertise with confident team leadership capability.
As Logistics Team Leader, you will oversee the coordination of international shipments, ensure compliance with global trade regulations, and lead a small team to deliver efficient, accurate, and timely logistics outcomes.
About the Role
You will:
* Manage international sea freight shipments, and occasional air freight shipments
* Oversee export/import documentation and trade compliance
* Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, and relevant authorities
* Ensure accurate ERP data management and shipment tracking
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function – including ERP implementation.
* Lead and support a small team of logistics coordinators
About You
You will bring:
* Proven experience in international logistics or freight forwarding
* Strong knowledge of export/import documentation and trade compliance
* Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is desirable.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel capability
* Experience with SalesForce is a bonus
