Job Title: Community Programs Manager
Nganampa Health Council is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been delivering high-quality primary health care across the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands in the far northwest of South Australia for over 40 years.
The APY Lands border the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Anangu culture is strong, and Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara are first languages.
About the Team:
A multi-disciplinary team focuses on strengthening our workforce and its second responder program, as well as the active involvement of Anangu in the management and operation of our programs.
About the Role:
You will lead a team to implement and improve programs addressing environmental and social factors impacting health and wellbeing outcomes for Anangu. You will oversee public health initiatives and workforce development initiatives to create employment and training pathways for Anangu.
You will have:
* a proven track record in leading teams
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* experience working with Indigenous communities
