Teaching Opportunity
This is a dynamic role for a qualified educator to join our Support Unit classes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Approval to teach Special Education and/or experience in teaching students with Autism, Mild Intellectual Disability and complex needs including behaviour and emotional support and mental health.
2. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively to develop quality differentiated teaching and learning programs, resources and individualised learning, behaviour and wellbeing plans, to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
3. Demonstrated successful classroom management with flexible and adaptive strategies that create a positive learning environment.
4. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to establish effective partnerships with parents, community, support agencies and colleagues to achieve improved outcomes for students.
