About The Role
Capital Radiology at Eaton is seeking an experienced Part-Time Medical Receptionist to be the face of our organisation, delivering the highest standards of service to patients, referrers, and the community.
Role details: This is a Part-Time role, working 3 days per week (Mon, Tue, Fri). The first 12–16 weeks will be training, and you will be expected to commit to Full-Time hours during this period. Reporting to the Site Administration Supervisor, you will:
* Represent the practice as the first point of contact for patients at the front desk.
* Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
* Book patient appointments while maximizing available slots.
* Inform patients of relevant preparations, costing estimates, and concession card requirements.
* Process patient referrals as part of a multidisciplinary team with Receptionists, Booking Centre Agents, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
About You
* Self-driven with a patient-first approach.
* Passion for quality patient care and the healthcare industry.
* Previous medical receptionist experience using patient entry or bookings systems (Medical Imaging, GP or Allied Health is highly desirable).
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients, referrers and staff.
* Compassion and empathy, while remaining calm under pressure.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail for accurate data entry into RIS, EFTPOS and cash handling.
* Proven ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
* Leadership or supervisory experience is desirable.
