The primary objective of the position is to generate sales through delivering the highest level of customer service to all Clark Rubber customers and assist in providing a welcoming, clean, neat and well merchandised retail store.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Serve customers courteously and efficiently ensuring the highest level of customer service standards are met at all times.
2. Assist customers in finding the goods and products they are looking for.
3. Answer queries and provide guidance and advice on product selection.
4. Perform pool water testing and assist customers in selecting pool and spa chemicals, accessories, and equipment.
5. Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately.
6. Stock shelves and display products in accordance with planograms and Merchandising Standards.
7. Ticket items within the store according to Merchandising Standards.
8. Balance and count the register at the start and end of each day.
9. Manage customer refunds following our Refund Policy and approval process with Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
10. Follow and complete housekeeping tasks listed on the Daily and Weekly Action Lists.
11. Ensure store security by monitoring for shoplifters and fraudulent credit card activity.
12. Receive and store stock deliveries as required.
13. Perform other tasks and duties as directed.

Skills & experience required :
1. Hold a current driver’s license.
2. Preferably have retail experience.
3. Possess strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
4. Be physically fit to stand most of the day and lift large stock items.
5. Have understanding and experience in sales, merchandising, and customer service, with knowledge of swimming pools highly regarded.
6. Have knowledge or interest in swimming pool and spa products and maintenance.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Possess basic computer skills for point-of-sale transactions.
