The Senior Content Author is responsible for publishing and managing content on Australian Unity's digital assets including www.australianunity.com.au, microsites, mobile apps, and other platforms.
The role is part of a cross functional agile squad with this role functioning as a custodian of our digital assets and works closely with stakeholders to drive acquisitions and service outcomes in line with business objectives. It's a fast-paced environment where people are collaborative, driven and enthusiastic.
* Create, edit and publish website content and pages in the Enterprise CMS (Sitecore).
* Create, maintain and support content changes on the website whilst adhering to best practice guidelines and standards, AU brand guidelines and AA Accessibility.
* Manage content requests from initial request to digital asset selection, stakeholder review, feedback and publication.
* Support the Analytics and optimisation teams in the execution of A/B test initiatives as required.
* Build positive, productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to advocate for digital and create high quality content experiences that meet both business and customer needs
* Function as an SME for the CMS, working with stakeholders and developers to feed in requirements and test new components
* Contribute to process creation and optimisation to improve efficiency of content delivery
About You
* Previous experience working as a Digital Content Author, Content Producer or comparable role
* Demonstrated experience in building web pages and publishing new content in an enterprise environment
* Experience using an enterprise CMS – Sitecore 9.0+ or Adobe Experience Manager, essential
* Knowledge of UX best practice, English language and grammar, plus hands on HTML and coding experience required
* Experience working with marketing and product stakeholders and leading the delivery of content requests, providing recommendations and guidance as needed
* Experience working as part of an Agile team under Agile methodologies preferred
