Your New Role
As Senior Development Manager, you will take ownership of renewable energy projects from the very beginning through to Final Investment Decision. This is a hands-on role where you will lead project development, identify new opportunities, and manage everything from site selection to approvals and stakeholder engagement. You'll also play a key part in mentoring junior team members and building capability across the business.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Leading projects through the full development lifecycle - from origination to FID
* Identifying and securing new project opportunities, including land and approvals
* Managing due diligence, planning, and environmental assessments in NSW and QLD
* Working with grid specialists, AEMO, and NSPs on connection feasibility and applications
* Overseeing stakeholder engagement and community consultation
* Supporting investment decisions with feasibility studies and risk assessments
Your Experience
To Succeed In This Role, You'll Bring
* 7+ years experience in renewable energy or related project development
* Strong knowledge of environmental planning and regulatory approvals in NSW/QLD
* Experience managing land agreements, feasibility, and due diligence processes
* Understanding of NEM and grid connection pathways
* Excellent stakeholder and project management skills
* A passion for renewable energy and sustainability
