About The Role
As the Administrative Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and effective operations of Rockville State School. Reporting to the Principal and Business Manager, you will provide timely and relevant administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks, including reception duties, maintaining school records, and processing correspondence.
* Providing support for school staff, including managing timesheets, leave applications, and arranging relief staff as needed.
* Assisting with financial administration, such as processing payments, reconciling invoices, and managing school financial data.
* Organising school maintenance, safety inspections, and community use of school facilities.
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, providing information and support in line with school policies.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in administrative and financial systems, such as OneSchool.
* Ability to work collaboratively and support a team-oriented environment.
* Empathy and a commitment to fostering a positive school community.
