GTE Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical engineering and design capability, supporting major projects across the mining, industrial, renewables and emerging oil & gas sectors.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for technical delivery, team performance and client outcomes. You will play a key role in strengthening our engineering capability, driving consistency in delivery, and supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering and Design teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
* Oversee technical delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and client requirements
* Manage team resourcing, workload planning and performance
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineers and designers
* Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and quality
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting ongoing and future work
* Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes and project delivery
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, schedule and budget
* Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and key technical decisions
* Contribute to business development and strategic growth initiatives
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
* 15+ years' experience within mining or heavy industrial environments
* Strong background in electrical design, including substations, power systems and earthing
* Experience across control systems, PLC/SCADA and industrial networks
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards and compliance requirements
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver outcomes
* Commercial awareness with the ability to support client engagement and growth
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
