About the Role:
This varied position will see you provide key support to Senior Leadership Executives by taking full ownership of the Finance function. Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing all functions of the Finance department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general administration.
* Hiring, training, and evaluating Accounts department employees.
* Providing high-level advice on contemporary accounting practices and principles.
* Identifying technological solutions for efficiency and implementing improvements.
* Actively participating in interdepartmental meetings.
* Developing, reviewing, and improving policies and procedures.
About You:
* You will be an energetic and natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a people manager or supervisor.
* Proven experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or collections.
* Exceptional leadership and time management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and deliver results accurately and on time.
* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, and communication skills.
