Skyline Campers is looking for a cabinet maker to assist in the construction of our campervans and motorhomes.
Experience working with Motorhomes, Campervans or Caravans is highly desired.
Working out of West Gosford, we pay above award wages, and have a super friendly team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of custom cabinetry and interior components. This isn't just "flat-pack" assembly—you'll be working with high-quality materials to fit complex, curved vehicle interiors where millimetres matter.
Required Cabinet Making & Technical Skills
CNC Operation: Experience in operating CNC machinery for the precision cutting of cabinetry components is required.
Precision Fabrication: Experience cutting, shaping, and finishing plywood and laminates.
Edge Banding & Finishing: Proficiency in applying T-trim or edge banding for a professional, durable finish.
Hardware Installation: Skilled in fitting soft-close runners, flush-fit latches, and concealed hinges.
Template & Layout Work: Ability to scribe and fit cabinetry to the unique contours of a vehicle's interior.
Tool Proficiency: Expert use of table saws, routers, track saws, and various hand tools.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret design drawings and floor plans.
Problem Solving: High attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot fitment issues on the fly.
Process Driven: Ability to follow established procedures to ensure consistent quality and OH&S standards.
Team Player: You work well with others but are equally productive working autonomously.
Reliability: Punctual, self-motivated, and proud of the work you produce.
Licence: Current manual driver's licence (to move vans between our local workshops).
Willing to consider the right applicants with less experience for training and upskilling.
